Paying with Bitcoin

If you’re booking from abroad, Bitcoin is often the simplest way to pay. There are no currency conversion fees, no foreign transaction charges from your bank, and no declined-card surprises — your payment settles directly to us through the Bitcoin network, the same way regardless of which country you’re in. It’s typically faster than an international bank transfer and you don’t share any card details along the way.

Please note: BTC ‘on-chain’ payments only. We do not accept Lightning payments.

We process Bitcoin payments through our own self-hosted node using BTCPay Server, so there’s no third-party payment processor in between. If you already use Bitcoin, sending the payment takes under a minute and a typical transaction is confirmed on the network within typically 10 minutes — here’s the flow.

How to Pay

1. Select Bitcoin at checkout

On the checkout page, choose Bitcoin as your payment method and click Place Order.

BTC-Checkout

2. Pay the invoice

You’ll be taken to an invoice page showing a QR code, the exact BTC amount, the receiving address, and a 60-minute countdown. You have two ways to pay:

  • On mobile: open your Bitcoin wallet and scan the QR code. It fills in the address and amount for you. Confirm and send.
  • On desktop: use the Copy buttons next to the address and amount, paste both into your wallet, and send.

3. Done

The page updates as soon as your transaction hits the network. You’ll get a booking confirmation email once the payment is confirmed on-chain (usually around 10 minutes). You can safely close the tab.

Good to Know

  • On-chain only. Do not pay from a Lightning-only wallet.
  • The rate is locked for 60 minutes. Send within that window. If it expires, just place the order again to get a fresh invoice.
  • Scan the QR or use the Copy buttons — don’t type the address by hand. Bitcoin addresses are long and unforgiving of typos.
  • Pick a reasonable fee in your wallet (Medium or Priority pre-set is fine) so the transaction confirms quickly.

Something Went Wrong?

If your payment hasn’t shown up, the invoice expired before you sent it, or anything else looks off — just email us at titus@supnorway.com with your order number and (if you’ve sent it) the transaction ID. We’ll sort it out.
